2025/26 David Moyes

Days since players last got more than 10 minutes (excluding added time) in an Everton game:
Harrison Armstrong - 61
Charly Alcaraz - 84
Tyler Dibling - 84
Nathan Patterson - 89
Merlin Rohl - 97
Adam Aznou - 105

👆 That's not right. The minutes McNeil, Barry are getting. Gueye gasping a lung and myko so erratic.
4 of them played well or changed games when given a few minutes. Moyes is absolutely running a clique. If the players aren't responding well to him then or improving under coaching than that's bad management.

I think he'll definitely stay next season.

But TFG should be thinking do they want to give Moyes another £100m that doesn't make it on to the pitch.

Or is better to give it to a manager we expect to be here for 3-4 years and will give young players games.

There will be manager options available this summer.

A number of posters argue that Moyes should stay longer for stability but I’m a bit unclear on how many more mid table points totals are required to achieve this. Is it 4, 5 10 ?

23/24 Pts 48 Pos 12th (adjusted for points deduction)
24/25 Pts 48 Pos 13th
25/26 Pts 47 Pos 11th (4 games left to show some improvement for the money spent & the loans)

Why don't you answer your own question.

One of the journos in his next press conference need to have the stones to ask him why this is the case rather than glazing him with some pointless stat about how many games he’s managed. Can’t see the board coughing up another 120 million pounds for him if he’s going to waste it as much as he did this season.

He won something with west ham who were worse then us when he took them over.

Same west ham that got rid of him and have been battling relegation ever since.

Pretty much the same thing we've been doing since he left bar 2-3 seasons
Has he won anything with us though? I wasn’t talking about West Ham

West Ham are in trouble because their dildo of a chairman keeps selling all their best players and owes loads to rights and media funding

A bit like blue bill!!

Just a wild guess but it's because he don't want any more time with Moyes as manager.
He's got a very Matt Le Tissier way of posting on this forum. "Just asking the question" and "Makes you think".

Good post, sums it up nicely. Moyes out!

There is no case for keeping Moyes. Let's hope the owners show some ambition and move him on.
