I just couldn't understand Moyes reasoning today. McNeil & Barry stink the gaff out in the 1st half then both come out for the 2nd half and continue to stink the gaff out. We go a goal down because we offer no threat then he decides to take off McNeil finally and put Jimmy at right back I assume to give us more attacking threat from a full back. My question is why did he only change it when we are losing. Why not change when you can see it wasn't working from the off. I see Myko done sterling defensive work at the far post again. We are fading into 13th or 14th place because Moyes has his negative head on. If Beto is not fit for the next game then try either George or Dibling........they have played up front previously.

Crazy to think about the buzz around the place after the Chelsea game, and how quickly Moyes has managed to completely torch that.

Getting to the point now where those advocating for Moyes can't even really say why they are beyond just repeating the mantra "look at where we were last season"

Let’s be honest, the owners don’t give a damn. We’re just a cash cow to fund their actual team, Roma.

They’ll look at the situation Spurs are in and will stick with the ‘safest’ pair of hands they can get, which is Moyes.

Even if that keeps us locked into 12th place finishes and first round knock outs.

We don't have a realistic alternative. We are not good enough with the squad we have.

While I think Moyes has done well overall to make us much more solid I just cannot understand his use of the squad. Especially in the latter half of the season. He is continually persisting with players that do not work. McNeil again was poor today and culpable defensively when you'd seemingly think that's what Moyes would value over Dibling or whoever else. I'm shocked he puts up with Barry. For someone that often has a lot of his players always putting in a shift he just seems the complete opposite of what Moyes would want in a player mentality wise. I'd really wanted him to give someone else a go up top today, even if it didnt work out because Barry is just nowhere near good enough.

When we get to the latter half of games it feels like we make the same changes everytime and it barely makes much difference. Why has there been so little integration of players that have been brought in. Last week against Liverpool during the injury stoppage they brought a bunch of players on that had solid game time this season while we just swapped Beto for Barry cause we were forced to and we all knew how it was gonna go.

I've always liked Moyes and will always be thankfull for turning us around but some recent things I just don't understand.

Why not just go for it once we were mathematically safe. I know every point in the PL is hard to win but just plodding along hoping other teams to slip up is unacceptable.

Playing Barry is unacceptable.

Showing the an ounce of respect last week, unacceptable.

Negative team selections at home, unacceptable. McNeil instead of a more attack minded player at home is an example of his negativity.

I stll can't believe the handball and no penalty today though, terrible terrible decision.
