2025/26 David Moyes

Think you just have to be balanced with him what did you expect this season, i can understand the frustration and going forward will be more pressure. But to say how can defend him, has been improvement on the team this season.

We can say hels done a decent job but we cant say he needs backing.

Not with performances like this when a Euro place beckons.

Not really, wanted a win tbh.
Why you so content with better than relegation battles?
Sure you’re not closet kopite happy to see middling Everton battling against the mighty Brentford?
Here's me thinking we are challenging for Europe, I must be looking at the wrong table.

You can abd i blame him in the backing becuase a rb should have been the priority this season same as lb. When ndiaye was out use aznou like su derland because of his pace. Is not free from blame but to say a decent job would say very harsh. 100 % agree next season after all the recrutiment team including him having a full season at us. He should be under more pressure because all had alot more time to plan.

Think fair to have ago at moyes but is a balance. Dont like the way has dealt with some players and hope next season with a better squad need to see him push this team on. If i see obrien as the starting rb next season will be calling the manager out

I dont like your attiude as a fan. Its stinks

He doesn't play those players because he's not able to coach them and find a place for them.

They all should be up and running and contributing here instead of being sat on the bench.

He's thrown the best part of £80M for those 4 players down the toilet...and if we get beat next week and a couple of others below win then we're just about holding off a bottom half position.

Moyes can GTF as far as I'm concerned. He's proven without a shadow of a doubt he's not a manager who we can build with.
I think we are never going to agree unless Moyes puts us in the relegation zone or get Champions League football .

I understand your point of view . You probably grew up watching us being one of the two best teams in the eighties and see ( correctly) that Everton are a truly historic team with an epic trophy cabinet and fans that are like no other .

However , the recruitment errors are a tiny rain drop in an ocean of mismanagement, poor choices and terrible appointments. We can't compete financially with the Sky Seven and we will only get to complete with the media darlings if we get our owners splurge an obscene amount of money or we take baby steps .
Keep things on the pitch tight while progressing off it. Moyes is the perfect manager for that .

The players obviously love him and he's a very experienced PL manager. The team today knew they messed up and they fought right to the end. Like you , I would prefer a more proactive than reactive manager but we couldn't afford to be beat today if we want Europe .

Criticism of Moyes has been warranted a few times this season but I suspect if someone said to any fan that the real worry of this season would be to make Europe , they'd take it .

I think we can agree to disagree and I find debating with you most enjoyable.

…..managed their shape well and the teams character has to be testament to the Manager. They don’t give up, thought the substitutions were correct, he obviously sees something in George who is with the right manager to develop his game.
George has the directness to his game to make something happen that Dibling hasn't shown and I'm not surprised he's being preferred because of it.
