2025/26 David Moyes

No one is saying we should win all games, but they were there for the taking and he ballsed that up at HT because whatever he said put them to sleep.

We only came alive again after conceding the 2nd.

How anyone defends him I dont know.
Because for the first time in ages the stress isn’t about staying up, it’s about making Europe. And for sane people that’s a welcome change.

Ok. That's about it then.

We had the better team by far going into that and we just scraped a draw after playing terrible for most of that game.

10 of that starting XI played under Dyche. You said 17th was the best we could hope for.

FWIW, I backed Dyche too, but ultimately said he had to go before the new years fireworks. I also batted away the straw man arguments from people claiming I was saying we couldn't possibly get manager. I batted away most of those arguments by stating unequivocally that Moyes is a better manager. On numerous occassions.

Get the frustration about moyes and the pressure will increase as hopefully backed by tfg. Aswell as the recruitment team, still feel he is been let down by himself and recruitment not getting in a rb and pace in this team. But was a left short in the window, but has been improvement this season. So deserves a chance next season to ahow he can push on, whatever frustrations people feel and if we miss out on europe has still been a massive improvement in the team

Let's have it right: he wasted the bulk of a £110M budget last summer.

Where are Dibling, Rohl and Aznu in all this? Why would you buy a player like Barry after 1 season in a decent team elsewhere?
Fair points mate and it's annoying that he won't play the younger players but maybe he wants to put out his best players to finish higher in the league .
Again you make a fair point , maybe he shouldn't have all the power to buy players if he's not going to develop them but he's here to win games . I can't say why Moyes won't play Aznou as I haven't seen much of him but Dibling has been a disaster. If he signed off on it , he's made a costly mistake but to play just because of his price tag is wrong .
Our midfield three when all are available are the best trio we have. Tim has done well off the bench for the main and Rohl has spent a lot of time injured at the start .
I can't for the life of me understand why you hate the guy. He certainly has no future as a DOF but he's as a match day manager , he's the best we could hope for until we have fully sorted out the squad.

Think you just have to be balanced with him what did you expect this season, i can understand the frustration and going forward will be more pressure. But to say how can defend him, has been improvement on the team this season.

He doesn't play those players because he's not able to coach them and find a place for them.

They all should be up and running and contributing here instead of being sat on the bench.

He's thrown the best part of £80M for those 4 players down the toilet...and if we get beat next week and a couple of others below win then we're just about holding off a bottom half position.

Moyes can GTF as far as I'm concerned. He's proven without a shadow of a doubt he's not a manager who we can build with.
