2025/26 David Moyes

If Angus Kinnear had anything about him at all, he’d be hauling Moyes in and demanding proper answers as to why he’s pissed over a hundred million up the wall on players he’s identified, approved and the. barely played/says aren’t good enough.

Absolutely negligent to watch what’s happened this season and then just hand Moyrs more cash to spend in the summer.

Honestly, forget Kinnear, TFG should be asking of both of them. Straight up, people have been sacked for far less. You don't spend the money with a view to make money on them and then hand them to david "i want a 31yo w no resale value" Moyes. One of the 2 should have changed.

At this point every place in the table is worth 2-3mil. Gained or lost. Every game that Dibbs, Aznou, and Rohl substantially sit, their values (and growth) stagnate or more likely go down. I get that table position is cash, but there is a trade off that needs serious reconning.

I'm no Moyes fanboy but for 87mins it all went well,
Plan A was working and the snidiest little Spaniard we know was pulling his Lego wig off in frustration

It's not his fault (or is it?) that Moyeses options are Barry & Beto
That said
We could've gone in at HT 1-3 up, 0-2 was not unfeasible
But didn't
We were still good value for 0-0
McNeil had a good game but was pulling up lame hence the sub
Maybe Tim was tired too - I never noticed

All until Pickford's coque up with the cross
But that's Keepers, one mistake and you're shiz.

And when the keeper goes up you're always susceptible to the break...lets face it, sometimes even without Pickford going up Our Corner has been the opposition's best option for a shot at goal.

Fairplay to the young lad, kept calm and took it well.

Could Shoulda Woulda - Moyes...and Everton...in a nutshell.

The DM plan for winning away: Dwight having a shot nearly worked. The team worked hard and it was a big kick in the goolies to lose like that. Still DM could not resist screwing up the subs as always. Dwight had gone at 60 mins and at one point lied down but was left on. Harrison was in the wrong position and neither Tyreek or Tyler were given a chance when the team was crying out for pace in the last half hour.

Happy with players, manager and performence really.

We need a better quality of player and finisher, we should have scored at keadt one of three very good chances, we do that and it’s a different game.

More investment in the team required particularly in finishing.

Based on the last £100m + spent I’m not seeing further investment as necessarily a solution.

Look at how many players were out of contract last summer.
Not all signings are going to be successful.
Look at the envy many of us had towards forest.
