2025/26 David Moyes

Yes, it's a cup final you dope.

If every underdog in a cup final went with your mentality legitimately all cup competitions would be VERY boring.
What mentality is that my feeble minded friend? We scored in the first minute. Our attacking intent was severely hamstrung by having a right hand side of Leon Osman and Hibbert that got absolutely rinsed by player of the year Malouda. Did you even watch the game?

From where I was sitting, we tried bloody hard.

Tony Hibbert was bossed by Lampard putting balls over his head all game and that was the source of their win.

Again another sweeping statement you make, which is outrageous and wrong.
It's just tiring and dumb at this point isn't it? It's like dealing with a list of Maga talking points that just get repeated ad nauseum as if they are facts. Malouda who was player of the year and having a Kanchelskis level season absolutely rinsed our right hand side all day. Lampard score from outside the box (Howard should save it like) and Drogba score a great header. I don't think there anything more Moyes could have done given the players we have available and on the bench. We didn't have a wildcat McMannam type dribbler who could produce a worldie performance.

Back to namecalling when you've lost an argument, something you've been warned about about a thousand times btw.

And okay lads, it's fine and ambitious and shows great game management to play for a 0:0 in a cup final, my bad, you're all game savants. As soon as a team has a better player we should just lay down and die.
You’re right. We should have really taken the game to them like Palace did.

It's also the way we won the cup in 95. We nicked a goal on the counter and hung on for dear life for the entire second half.
Wrong again, we actually had the better of the first half imo and while Utd came onto us in the 2nd have they created very little, this notion that southall was mom
And made 2/3 world class saves is nonsense.
Them saves he’d make With his hands behind his back, Utd created very little and we should have done better on break late on.
