2025/26 David Moyes

I really do hate this weekly point scoring exercise by so many. We aren’t robots, everyone will have differing views and that’s OK.

It’s absolutely fine for any fan to have high standards, or bigger dreams & hopes vs the ones that are just happier we are safe & not in a relegation battle/ comfortable.

Both view points are OK, and the ones trying to shame fellow Blues who have a different opinion, regardless of which side of the fence you are on are becoming tedious & boring.

Why are some so called Evertonians gutted that Everton won today?
I was out having drink jumping out my seat shouting, looking like complete muppet..

If anyone didn't have that same feeling than they don't deserve the game..

That being said tho Chico, Monday was an absolute shocker, and put me through 5 days of misery. So it was needed..

He will be made a martyr type if they sack him before next season especially if he manages to get European football .

I think he will deserve credit for that if he achieves that. Hes too much a reminder of what went on here in the past for me tho.
He will deserve immense credit if he gets us to Europe, but I’m pretty unshakable in my belief he isn’t the man to take us beyond this season.

In any event, if he leaves at the end of the season, he’ll certainly leave us in far better shape than he found us, and he’ll go with a lot of goodwill. If he sticks around he’ll be gone by Jan with his horrific square peg team selections.

It must be a strange state of mind to be in - logging on an hour before kick-off and already typing out the post-mortem. That’s the mood some fans find themselves in with David Moyes: frustration preloaded, substitutions questioned before they happen, the lineup treated like a personal slight. Our online fanbase contains some of the most demented "supporters" in football.

He finally worked out that without Grealish Illy is better playing on the left.
Maybe he worked out Beto should start as well, or was that by chance with Barry's shoulder.

Shouldve made more considered substitutions. He's going to run some players into the ground, KDH and Illy in particular and its not as if he doesn't have players to bring on for them. He was lucky to get away with this, helped out by Newcastle players losing the plot near the end and slowing up play. That and the heart and guts of the players that got the result in the end.

Is it will be a time hopefully next season when we have better options at fb and he will have to play them instead of playing a safe option like obrien at rb.this season cant argue he hasnt used the bench enough plyers like aznou when ndiaye was out had no wingers could have been used becuase of his pace. Is alot of examples this season him not using the squad enough. Moyes has done well this season but is a massive chance for an unlikely team to get europe this season and on some games you have to question moyes
Yeah, that’s fair, but the manager has the best insight into who is ready to play, how well people are doing in training, etc.
