2025/26 David Moyes

I want him to succeed but I still feel that he is limited/cannot take us to the next level. Great job in terms of keeping us up last season and this one too but we need to be winning home games and not just "backs to the wall" type of games. We need proper full backs (how hard can it be?) and top level strikers. We won today and I'm happy but the result masks a lot of flaws. *bring on the hate;)

100% agree with this. I will always be grateful how he steadied the ship but I just don't see his coaching style as a good way to break away from midtable.

Having said that, our away form under his reign is truly impressive.

Good win but doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t know. He is the master of KITAP1 away from home.

He needs to be winning more home games, introducing some identity & developing the squad before I would give him any more money or time.

This type of game absolutely suits Moyes. Controlling games and pressing a result, not so much.

...if we'd set up like this at home most of the season we'd be in a CL spot right now.

We have very good quality players who can be disciplined behind the ball and players who can carry a threat upfield when we need it.

It's been a travesty that Moyes has refused to play like this at home - because when he doesn't it exposes his limitations, because we cant control possession. That's killed us from claiming a defo nailed on European place.
