We're playing in the English league Davek so for a team not to have an English player in their starting line up is something to be embarrassed by imo

I couldn't care less where they come from. I just want winning players.

Yes Wolves are terrible but all of the top teams have easy draws so it's not going to make much odds as one of them will almost always win the Mickey Mouse cup

We need to keep that cup run going.

A loss to the worst PL team by some distance will be a massive blow.

We have the players to beat them with ease.

Needs stand out results this season. A derby win, away win at top teams, a big cup win or a trophy itself. Finishing 10th beating the bottom half at home and drawing most away games as was the old Moyes formula might not cut it with the Friedkins. He was showing last season that he could win away games on the spin at difficult teams like Forest Fulham Newcastle. He needs to carry that on and do something different that says this will be a different period for Everton and not just another same old same old.

And yet it doesn’t make him a bad manager either, suppose it’s how it suits your own agenda.

Nobody is saying it is, but for someone who has managed well over 1000 games his record against the top teams is woeful whichever club he has managed, he just seems to have this mental block with them where he feels he has too show them far too much respect imo. You would expect someone with his experience to have found a way to overcome it that's all.

Arsenal were as pathetic as we were in terms of timidness and lack of ambition to actually win the game while it was level. Got what they deserved all the same.

Not for me Davek, I think we should represent our nation and even better our city with at least half the starting line up. Its why I'm disappointed with our youth set up as its great seeing scousers in the side giving the club its identity. It's why Athletic Bilbao are the best club side

So I’ve just taken a look at the last 3 - 4 years of final premier league tables. In the last two years Liverpool have lost 4 games all year. City & Arsenal again similar numbers but do tend to fluctuate. but the most in the last 4 years the top side lost was 9. Across a whole season.

That suggests very few teams have making of these clubs. But then the problem goes deeper than Moyes when it comes to Everton and Liverpool, our mentality when it comes to
Liverpool isn’t a Moyes problem it’s an Everton problem.

Some people will never accept Moyes because of his first stint here, for whatever reason they have. It’s why him coming back is tougher than if we went out and picked up someone who had no history with club.

You’re entitled to your opinion of his record there, but for me he progresses us from a basket case club we have been and hopefully when he hands it over we are in a better place than when he arrived.

It’s not going there and winning. It’s going there and being afraid to try to win.

I’d have preferred we really went for it and most 4-0 than what we did today where we took ourselves out of it but most narrowly.

He'll have been at home watching Strictly tonight - parking that loss by thinking what a wonderful achievement it was getting us back to 2-1 and having them time wasting to hang on for their win.

He really doesn't think he should be measured by such games. He never has. That's one of the main problems his many critics among our fans have with him. He just doesn't get this club. He never will.
