2025/26 David Moyes

Genuinely though what must Dibling, Alcaraz Rohl and Aznou be thinking when in plenty of games this season were chasing a game and need a goal and Moyes opts for players out of position and Keane up top instead of them, he is guilty of doing what dyche did, shoehorning in his mates because they "run harder" in training. I like Moyes but think he's guilty of playing favourites and deserves alot of criticism on his treatment of new signings and in game management

Moyes hasn't a clue what to do at home. His statement before the game that the new stadium is no different than at Goodison was pathetic. Basing his analysis on the same games as last season - 16 points from the same number of games but we still have to play Manu, lfc, city and Chelsea at home. Where Moyes does the same thing and expects a different result.
It becomes clear that Moyes should only buy workhorses and not players who can turn and dribble- Alcaraz and Dibling spring to mind as well as Ireogbuman and Aznou.
We'll be lucky to get 10 more points from the remaining fixtures this season. The season is fizzling out as a great disappointment after so much hope. Moyes has spent money but doesn't know how to set up a team to attack at home. His 4-2-3-1 has shown to be wanting, but he refuses to change it. His containment mentality at home, will be his undoing as teams find it so easy to pass, and move, through us. Moyes may get one more season the win something or get us into Europe which would be an achievement in itself for Moyes.

Disappointing but still got us on course for Europe this season, that's the aim that nobody was predicting in August.
On course, you say? I think we fell off that course tonight, I'm afraid. We're on course for mid-table. We're incapable of taking a chance to truly break into the European equation. More chance of Reform taking the UK into Europe than the Moyesiah taking us, I suspect.

Aznou especially after his cameo in the cup with his willingness to run at defenders and make things happen. His reward? Not even in the squad

Hey everyone, what did you get for the post match presser bingo?
I’ve got:

‘It’s not easy to play here just now’
‘They’re on a good run’
‘On another night we’d come in a 2 or 3 nil up’
‘We were unlucky’
‘Once we went down to 10 it was always going to be an uphill struggle’
