2025/26 David Moyes

If he does one thing before he leaves, he HAS to find us a proper on field captain. Someone to drag the players around the pitch and to tear those not concentrating to bits. We concede so many goals because one or two players switch off for just a second. And it’s enough.

We concede a quick second goal so so many times. Rudderless.

He put a team out everybody wanted to see apart from the RB position.

They played ok with 10 men, but as usual it’s the hope that kills you.

We’ve just got no strikers, simple as that really.

Starting to think the club had no real ambitions to get into Europe next season.
No gana had been poor and plays another 90 plus twice in 4 days at 36. I don’t really want to see Myko or O’Brien at full

Moyes will get you some of the way but he’s a flawed manager! His stubbiness to play an actual RB in patterson until he is forced to is ridiculous!

Gana equally should not be playing!

Did Moyes make the worst LB in the league not jump no or barry miss two perfect changes no…

But his tactics don’t help us!

We will fall short of Europe when its within touching distance
Spot on

The most baffling thing about Moyes this time around is how he has completely ignored the need for good full back play, even though everything good offensively his old Everton team did was built around have two really good full backs.

We have bad strikers and bad full backs. Absolutely key positions in modern football. And we had chances to do something about it too.

I dont think it's acceptable to continually play people out of position at full back and continually get targeted and found out by opposition managers. It's basic stuff and it's a recurring problem.

Since beating Forest at home at the start of December, we’ve played; Arsenal, Brentford, Wolves, Leeds and Bournemouth at home and taken 2 points. As well as being dumped out of the cup by Sunderland.
I hope journalists (and the owners) are going to start questioning him on this.
Season ticket renewals are going to be a hard sell.
My mate paid 6k for 2 x premium season tickets 🤣

Wouldn’t have them if you gave them to me free.

I think he has to play Patterson for a few games now. He might be miles off it but O'Brien is such a liability. For someone so limited going forward his defending in that position is also pathetic.
