2025/26 David Moyes

Someone suggested before there’s a wider link between the biggest haters of Moyes and far right sympathisers on here and well I don’t know about that. We’d need more data.
There’s definitely a correlation between the 2. I think it’d be more noticeable if the CA thread was still open.

There’s posters you think are bad Evertonians, but it turns out they’re just terrible human beings.

I just can’t bring myself to get this emotionally invested in him really

He’s doing an acceptable job and I just don’t believe he’ll be here much longer

One more season after this one max I think

It’s hard to care that much when he’s doing an okay job

We’re trundling along in mid-table, we’re not thrilling to watch but we’re not absolute garbage either

It’s not where we want to be but he’s not going to be around to get us there anyway

He’s there to stabilise us and to establish a foundation for his replacement to build upon

Thus far it’s “job done” on both counts

We're not mid table, we're 8th and 6 points from 5th, to think this is doing "ok" given the state of the club when he came back is laughable

People keep using Armstrong as an example but he ended up in the first team because there was absolutely no choice but to play him. We had no other players in that position due to a combination of injuries and AFCON. Moyes is on record, numerous times, stating that he wouldn't have brought him back unless circumstances forced it and is also on record right up until the 11th hour of the transfer window that he would prefer to send him back to Preston. Now that other players are back I'm not convinced that he'll continue being selected. Time will tell, of course, but it's a little early to claim that Armstrong is an iron clad example of a youngster Moyes trusts.
He brought in George on Monday and played him yesterday.

Then again, maybe Moyes checked his birthday before bringing him on loan..
Safety first approach

Far to young on Tuesday
Old enough for a bench spot by Wednesday.

I actually think it’s the other way around…..
Here me out on this.
  • Adulation of fraud who has shown nothing to justify the unfaltering loyalty.
  • Unequivocal faith in his abilities and strategies despite what one’s own eyes can see.
  • Complete faith in an ideology over facts.
  • Denying the existence of and thus thwarting attempts to counter avoidable chronic health issues like MMV.
If there is any correlation between factions of Everton support and the intransigence and blind faith of MEGA, I fear it is the Moyesettes who stand accused.
What an absolute plot twist. Moyesettes on the ropes.
