2025/26 David Moyes

@mods, any chance we could get some posting stats on who posts after wins versus after losses?
I’m fascinated by the Moyesettes briefly going into hibernation when Everton lose, only to re-emerge refreshed, optimistic, nay bombastic the moment we win again.
No judgement as football does strange things to us all.
Purely for curiosity and science, mainly for science though.
Yet Moyes has won away at Man Utd and Villa (in third) this season. Supposedly he can’t win away in these kind of matches.

A Moyesette? I like it, like a portmanteau of moist towelette!

Yes, but how many are siginings by the clubs in our division? My point is our new signings are valued at more than the 130m we officially spent when you add the Grealish valuation. So to hold on to the 130m figure as evidence we were the 13th biggest spenders is disingenuous. In reality, we are about 11th if we take Grealish at 28m and 10th if we say 50m (which is what we were told City valued him at). So, setting 10th as a reasonable target or expectation when we are spending that and 5m a year on the joint-sixth highest paid manager in the league is not at all unreasonable.
You sound like Dyche mate…

“If you add a couple of wins in that, it doesn’t look bad”

Talking absolute dog poo.

I don’t think it’d be a fair test if I’m honest. When Everton lose I sulk, I’m upset and I have very little Interest in posting on the internet. Now, that may just be me. The more interesting request would be to evaluate who posts consistently after a loss and disappear after a win. That would really show who the trolls are.

Your above post makes it look like you’re upset Everton have won. I’m so sorry for your loss, pal. Thoughts are with you xx

Boss band name, can't believe no one has taken it yet

I'm sure Post Malone would love to have someone take the 'most Grammy Nominations without winning a Grammy' award away from him...
