But they are 3 players out of a potential 25 man PL squad. We knew Gana and Ndaiye were gone before we started recruitment last summer and did little to prepare for it. Grealish and Keane are a pair of morons, both experienced players getting reds for daft things, and the rest is just the usual injuries which plenty of other teams have. We are being exposed a bit by the poor summer window last summer but at the same time at this level of the game I think moaning about missing players is a poor excuse tbh and it mainly seems to be a fan thing. Moyes for example said a couple of weeks back that missing players are never an excuse for poor performances.

It is also on Moyes and the coaching staff to make sure that backups are ready to make the transition when you lose players as seamless as possible. We knew all season Ndiaye and Gana would go. We knew for ages that JB had a bad injury that would keep him out for a while. It's on recruitment a bit because we should have signed fullbacks and a more experience forward but at the same time once that squad is locked in the manager needs to make sure they're prepared.

Jep, in theory they are, but there is a huge quality gap between those 3 and McNeil, Röhl and Dibling, I don't accept performances like in the last 3 games tho as you said.

I said that we haven't recruited perfectly, but we were a patient on intensive care in summer with an overaged squad and about 13 players in May/June, having 4 seasons of relegation battle behind us and years of missmanagement. 100m is a decent amount of money, but little in the situation we're in and what needs to be fixed.

Tbh can blame Moyes for that. The Wrexham manager last night told his players no stupid run ups or stuttering just hit the ball, deserved it all 3 done something stupid wasn’t impressed with garners first but it went in 120 minutes in the legs for nothing more injury’s probably come off the back of that.
