2024/25 David Moyes

Yes, we've won some football games before april, and we didn't actively play for a draw in every single game anyway.

Who did you have us beating/drawing for 5 tho?
Liverpool - L
Forest - D
Arsenal/Chelsea - L/D

And then I actually thought we were most likely to beat Man City

Whatever, someone made the point that the way you play can be largely down to the standard of the opponent, if you aren’t all that yourself.

We got a reality check this month, basically.

Oh I'm just asking mate  I expected 3 points from draws but we got more than that so I'm personally okay with it, and it was a horrible run in the span of a month. A reality check indeed.

And I can see the logic of beating City too really, but they somewhat picked up lately, in a classic "Everton that" moment.

I had to laugh when he was pressed on DCL's contract situation.

He stated a couple of times that he'd 'need to become more robust' if he was going to be 'worth' a new deal. Then when he was asked how Dom will be able to prove that before the season ends he says 'well it's almost impossible isn't it' 🤷‍♂️

If he ends up signing a new deal it'll be purely because of numbers if you ask me, which is a mistake and will 100% backfire.

Surely it depends on the deal. If Beto is sold & DCL is released we would need 2 strikers.

Lets hope that Moyes doesn`t do the almost impossible and give him a new deal.
