My calculator says that we’ve averaged 1.875 points per game since Moyes returned. Extrapolate that over 38 games and you get 71 points - enough for top 4 last season. That’s despite an injury crisis and some extremely dodgy refereeing.
I mean, really the Villa game shouldn’t count, considering he only hd a few hours in charge.

So averaging 2.14 per game which is 81 points which equals Leicester's title winning season.

Don’t want to get ahead of ourselves but title run next season on the cards.

The very pinnacle of manhood. The rest of us are just playing for second place.

I agree … given the amount of players out of contract this summer… if he gets the players he wants in to replace them … o wouldn’t bet against a top 7 finish next year
This must be the aim for next season.

This idea that we have to slowly climb back is nonsense. We can make huge strides if we get most of the recruitement we do this summer right. That has to be the aim. Finish 17th this season - which we will at the bare minimum - and then jump to the top half next season. That's eminently possible. The fact that we are actually in a race for 12th this season already tells you as much.
