Shocking re-branding effort by the new owners after investing heavily imo. Also an ideal chance get a solid DoF in and reform what's been a failing club for a few decades with a bright future in mind and then they opt for Moyes.

How good has he been at laying foundations and structure at the clubs he's managed ? How have any of them fared when he left ? I'd accept a 6month contract at arms length and with a token January budget with DoF oversight begrudgingly. Longer than that, GTF.

The owners have been in for a few weeks FFS. Basically the old manager handed his notice in and we are one point above relegation after decades of mismanagement.
This is the best appointment for the time being we should all get behind him and find something different to moan about for a while.

I think its going to take 2 summer transfer windows before we are in a position to really propel ourselves forwards. If Moyes can keep us up this year and get us inside the top ten next year. He will deserve that extra year and by the end of that year we will be going into the 3rd summer window with a solid base for a new younger stylish manager to add the cherries that will take us into domestic dominance for the next decade

Complaining about Moyes lack of trophies is fair enough, but it doesn't make a lot of sense when you consider that our previous manager could barely get us to score a goal.

Trophies should always be the aim, but let's be realistic. We need massive improvement before that's even a realistic ambition

Sometimes you just have to accept that some folk won't be happy whatever happens. Even if we won the PL some would find something to moan and boo at.

I like your optimism but the new manager will have Moyes players to play the Moyes way. We need proper structure, hence a decent DOF who Moyes won't work with.

I’d actually been enjoying not caring much since they brought in dyche. Accepting what he was and not giving a crap about how we performed so long as we stay up
