At least give your criticism some balance.
In 11 seasons we qualified for Europe on 4 occasions. Top eight finishes, and an FA cup final.
Sir Alex Ferguson won Manger of the year 5 times. Moyes won it 3 times, guess who else won it 3 times, Pep Guardiola, guess who won it only twice, Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger.
He took a struggling West Ham from the relegation places to 2 top 7 finishes I think it was.
As for the fourth rate euro trophy, I think most Evertonians would bite your hand off for it now.

Moyes went to Man U at a bad time, I think if he went there now he would do for them what he's doing for us now.
No one on this planet was ever going to fill SAF shoes.
As for going there, he was basically flipping burgers in McDonalds then got offered the job of being Gordon Ramseys head chef, who wouldn't take it, that was the difference between us and Man U back then.
I actually disagreed with him when he said knife to a gun fight, I thought it was more like a sewing needle against a Sherman tank.
We never had a pot to urinate in and I think he did a remarkable job then, and still is now, I think he's a brilliant manager for what we need right now.
Yes I love your balance - Wenger, Klopponly won it twice Guardiola only won it three times and Moyes won it three times - you are not suggesting Moyes is fit to tie any of their laces are you? And you think some of your other mentions make him better than a mediocre manager, he went to United thinking he was up to the job, some ego to think that, but he found out after seven months he was never up to managing them then or at any time since.

I remember him mostly for not knowing where, when or how to play Wayne Rooney keeping him on the bench for many games when Rooney was most probably the best player we have ever brought through the club in our history— I hope he doesn’t leave Alcaraz on the bench too much now with the limited talent skill wise this squad has got.
Never mind keeping Rooney on the bench, I remember he left Drenthe at home when we played Liverpool in the cup SF in 2012.

Drenthe would have been the ideal player off the bench to have pressed Liverpool back into their own half and relieve pressure when we'd taken the lead.

Sgt Maj. Moyes knows best though. The 'kin divvy.

Everton v Shrewsbury was 22 years ago now.

Everton v Tranmere was 24 years ago.

Dark days in our history them.

But as I say, im looking forward.

Exactly and he kept Mariane Gueye on the field for 62 bleedin’ minutes in that semi final and he was useless for every one of those minutes, if I’m not mistaken he took him off after Suarez equalised, and tried to shut up shop after we we took the lead against a very poor Liverpool team, Inthink we had one poor shot on target in that second half with Jones a third place goalie between the sticks!
