Explaining to my 10 year old Everton mad Daughter, why I was excite about Moyes coming back a few weeks back has all played out. We're a team again. No shirking. Shift from everyone. You're a first team player, this is your job. Never more evident than Jack Harrison. Limited (by Premier league standards) but he's now doing USEFUL running, and boy his effort is top class. Just getting him to actually influence the game even a little bit. O'Brien... etc

He has seemed very calm and at ease with himself since he returned. The benefit of age and experience. I think that has rubbed off on the team. In his first presser he said he was backing his view that the squad had what was needed to stay up. He's put all the nails in that relegation coffin, absolutely hammered them in and thrown the darn thing into the sea.

….uncomplicated, pragmatic and gets the job done. Maybe a bit less stable defensively but undoubtably carrying more threat.

Big summer ahead with so many out of contract, hopefully he’s in charge of transfers and we genuinely have a chance of improving.
I agree, definitely a bit more shaky at the back but to counter that, attack is definitely the first line of defence.

The biggest issue with Dyche amongst a long list, was that teams knew they didn’t have to worry about us attacking them, they could pin us back and we where happy to let it happen.
