David Moyes questions his tactics.

In a bbc sport interview after the game , David questioned if he had picked the right players and the right formation. I think this is the first time I have heard him say this about himself.

This might be a good thing and David will hopefully change things around a little , I say a little as he doesn't have much to play around with. It might also be a bad thing that he questions himself and he might be questioning his own ability to manage us , I hope this is not true cos David is a great manager and we would be lost without him at the helm of our team..

Lets hope we can get some consistency to try and finish as high as we can..

About time.

He defo needs to shake things up, let the lads express themselves, take arteta off setpieces, shoot from outside the box, give players a run out like beckford and gueye and just see what happens cos everything else aint working

I'd of asked him "At what point did you realise you had the tactics wrong????"

"First half? second half? After the match???"

Coz I could of told you that, as could many others on here.

Useless really, opportunity blown.

I like Osman for what its worth, but putting him on expecting him to magically light up the game is naive at best. When he came on, i'd of bet everything I had on us getting beat 2-0 or 3-0, now THAT is predictable.

i really hate how bily went off for osman. at least bily can pull a goal out of his arse. DM needs to keep playing bily and tell him to shoot when ever he gets a chance.

Osman did absolutely nothing when he came on yesterday - EXCEPT to lose the ball every time he got it.

So whilst Fellaini actually started getting occasional passes to meet a man, Osman then ruined it.

He's one for the high jump if ever there was one.

Osman has been asking for it for a long time , mediocre at best. Would you accept 25 million for Fellaini in the summer?

Excellent questions. I would bet that a lot on here had already questioned the line up and within 5 minutes of the start could see that the team were second best to every ball and could not retain possession. TBF approaching half time it looked like our pressure may just pay off and I can only assume that was why he didn't change anything until his usual 60 minute change. Unfortunately the second half ran much like the first. I could agree with taking off Coleman because he was getting stuffed on the right but I would have preferred Nev to be taken off for Becks and would have left Bily on as the only progress we were making was down the left. He could have put Jags on, pushed Heitinga into the holding position and pushed Felli up front much earlier than he did. I know this is the ravings of one really upset blue, but ffs Davey this is what you do for a living. I love Moyes and don't normally have a go at him but Sunday was just dire, or as he said himself 'the worst for nine years'. Rant over.....

Fair play mate. Rant away.

I have a deep rooted love for Moyes, but that doesn't mean he doesn't make me livid...

still fuming here at our lack of US doing US, we go out too often and try to counter their tactics...when really we should just go out and play football..

Still fuming here.

He will bring back Jags and Saha if fit cant see him doing much else

I actually thought that Baxter looked quite good when he came on. Other than Arteta's half-hearted first half effort, Baxter's shot was the only one Jaaskelainen had to properly save. Then there was his 'Scholes-esque' type effort from a corner - OK it missed by a mile, but at least he had a go and was thinking 'goals'.

In times like this, you never know when there is someone in the midst who could step up and make all the differenct. Give him a go IMO.

Some of the younger players are going to be eager to show things and hungry to perform. The trouble with the majority of our first team is that they believe they will play no matter how they perform and this has to be cut out and players need to be left out if they are not performing.

We had Elmander on an early yellow card. I was thinking why not push Arteta to the left with Baines at least at halftime? We could have murdered them on the left and/or got him sent off. Is there no wing clause in Arteta's contract that we don't know about?

I didn't think Baxter was bad either. He had a shot on goal, which is better than almost everybody on the pitch.

If Jags is healthy please lets end this Johnny H expirment. At least Jags cares, and if we're going to get tonked then at the very least lets put some guys on who show some heart.
