How can Moyes change a statement so much in less than twenty four hours from were looking to bring in quality on loan to were bringing in no one, just don't get it.

I don't think he needs to hide the fact were skint, so saying left when he means right doesn't make seems here

It sounds like we've had a bit of a look and found nothing worth persuing. Steve Bruce has said that it's a nightmare trying to get a player of the right quality, at the right age for the right price and they've got money to spend!

So from 4pm yesterday to 3pm today he's scoured the whole loan market in Britain,Europe and South America and found nothing thats better than what we've got.Just looking at the subs bench today the only change of note that Moyes could have made if things had gone t**ts up would have been Gueye and how much time has he been given. We need players in to change plan A to plan B even if their not going to be regular starters.

could you go and explain what this "plan b" thingy is to davey please!

all you whoppers !!!!!!!! jeez!!!! you know nothing*, you just spout your opinion and play at being the team manager crap. we`ve got an ace squad that hasnt performed to its potential this season, the only significant out-going player was pienaar, leaving Billy to fit right in (and play a better team game) i realise its a forum for opinions but f`chrissakes. we played a good game against the strongest side chelsea could put out, this tells me the players CAN perform so were does sacking the board/kenwright come into it. *i know even less

Our first team is Boss.. But we need depth.. Game changers off the bench! Not 18-19 year olds.

getting players in isnt priority anymore imo . i have 3 issues which are much more important......

1. staying in the prem
2. keeping our best players
3. getting rid of a useless chairman and his board of crooks.

Just heartbreaking to see a club like Everton suffer like this. If we carry on in the same way it's only a matter of time before we go down then. And that could be disasterous. A sad time for Evertonians atm.

The start of this season was the most upbeat I have been since the 80's.

I honestly thought that Blackburn game was a blip..

I'm thinking we might not pull away from the relegation scrap.

We really, really need new owners.

"When asked was he close to signing anyone on loan before the end of the window" David Moyes repiled and said "No". Im thinking hes just nothing close to being finalised!

*Clutches at straws!

We will pull away and finish underwhelmingly maybe a couple of places higher, but yes new custodians need to be fooled into parting with funds for no immediate return . Collectively as fans we have a vision of what is needed to make us perform financially better, but the real difficult part is convincing someone that its worth coming in to attempt to overturn 25+ years of financial neglect. It certainly wouldn't be ideal for the bank to gain total control of the club- but is there a chance it comes to that in order to entice new owners in for the price of the debt? Administration really isn't something I could contemplate the club doing but the banks calling in their loans/overdrafts could be whats needed to force the major shareholders hands. Even if that where to happen in the coming months it could still drag on into next season, given how long the situation took to resolve over at the pit.
