David Moyes Interview in the Echo

[Leave aside the feelgood factor of two big wins against "the big boys" of City and Chelsea (in reality only City, because this is the worst Chelsea team I've seen in living memory)

I'm with Chris. I think that's a bit over the top, Chelsea are still a top side, hence all the hype over how badly they're performing at the moment. Have a little faith Grumpus.

We have had two huge wins, but inbetween that was a draw against wigan, we the telltale Moyes mistakes in it. I've no problem with him being positive in his interview, and agree with you that critism of that is silly, but I'm still waiting to see if we have actually turned the corner.

Dont forget about that Sub he made in 2006 mate.

Moyes' interviews in the last few days have been copmpletely OTT and embarrassing. Leave aside the feelgood factor of two big wins against "the big boys" of City and Chelsea (in reality only City, because this is the worst Chelsea team I've seen in living memory) and in real terms all you have is a move in recent weeks from 12th to 10th in the league. Footy-wise there are signs it's coming back (where the fcuk has that been since the beginning of the season by the way Moyesie...that's your job to get them at it from day one of the season), that said there's still shit performances in there as per the Wigan game.

Dont be sold a pup by Moyes on this - all this nonsense about "we have competition for places now, and I wasn't giving fans what they want but now I am". That's the type of comment you come out with after you have everyone full gun and are rattling off ten great performances on the bouince to get the club really back where they belong. Talk about jumping the gun. My toes are curling reading Moyes stuff of the last week or so.

Get us to a cup final again and then maybe he can be forgiven for serving up complete and utter turd for most of the last two seasons.

You really are the equivalent of Jeykll and Hyde arent you?!
Worst Chelsea team youve seen in living memory?! How old are you 7?!

Bit of credit where its due- we beat Man City and Chelsea, the latter while playing some rather nice stuff. We had a bench that included internationals and talent with players that can change a game.

Just lighten up FFS.

Fair play good interview Moyes.

“The players needed a lift and they’ve got that now,â€￾ explained Moyes.

We needed to replace key players. We've sort of done that now (need to permanent some of them like) but its true.

Bridged the gap until the likes of Barkley and others are ready to come in to a certain extent too.

It was hard going.

I remember who were the ones ****ging him off in the hard times too. You know the ones saying "Get Owen Coyle in" "Get Martinez in" etc

It was the boards fault though. Had they of been doing their job Moyes would have been able to replace key players, in the summer!

You think that Chelsea team are up to snuff? I think they're lucky to have got the points they have so far. The defence is an embarrassment. It's the worst I've seen that club since before the Ranieri era.

Credit? I think I gave that by saying we're playing better football now. But we're 10th in a pretty rubbish league. Overdose on the positive spin regarding three or four games if you want, I'll take the long view of the season if you dont mind...if that's ok with you like.

Take that tin foil hat of lad.

Lolling at that, Matthew.

Chelsea are having a dip in form. Coinciding with the removal of **** house Terry and all that going on in the background. Coupled with a painful transition period.

Doesn't mean they're a bad team. They're alot like Arsenal. Just not quite what they were.

Whereas Everton are refinding what we are thanks to some key players finally being replaced!!!!

Shame Moyes isn't a good enough manager to get the players he had left playing better than he did instead taking the easy managers way out and relying purely on the quality of his players.

Sam Allardyce can do that.

Laughing here. Have you seen how Allardyce's team play? DURGE football. DURGE.

Cause he doesn't have the players.

If he had our squad he'd have it doing as well as Moyes, any manager can have a squad full of players likie Arteta and Pienaar playing well.

But just like Moyes some crappy manager like Allardyce or Warnock can't get results from his team once his best players leave cause they aren't tactically good enough.

He had the players at Newcastle and still played DURGE. He spent a fortune at Newcastle too!

Laughing here at the pathetic Moyes bashing. Leave off the glue

Got sacked before he had the chance to do what Moyes did.

Allardyce would of had us playing exactly as badly as Moyes did earlier in the season and as well as Moyes has since we signed some top qulaity players that much is obvious.

By earlier in the season do you mean before Chelsea?
