David Moyes has requested an advance on next year's television money

worth at least an extra £20m to each Premier League club, to seize the opportunity of Champions League qualification. He has not received a definite answer and a tempting offer for Marouane Fellaini is more likely to inflate the kitty."

Moyes gone in the summer if the board fail, I reckon.

No direct quotes from anywhere to suggest any of that is true, and Andy Hunter gets things wrong alarmingly often.

Not only that, it's actually impossible to get an advance on the money as far as I'm aware. Where from? Bank overdraft? The board? The Premier League itself?

You are joking, right? Andy Hunter is the writer that Moyes calls first.

I reckon Dave will make some comments in the papers and make Kenwrong give him £30 million to spend just like he did in every other transfer window.

I dont see why this is so far fetched IF the extra money in the summer will go to on transfers anyway

Realistically we know that David Moyes is a good manager. If he's identified a couple of players he thinks could help us push for Champions League then the board really has no option but to make it happen.

if that is true that has been handled terribly by the club. that is the thing that should already be sorted out if thats what we are gonna do. same goes with ofoe. if we want him we should already have him. it easily could have been sorted by now.

About to post the same thing myself, it tells you all you need to know about the board that the manager has to turn to Andy Hunter to get the message out.

yep. it makes perfect sense to do it. if we dont make it into the champions league then we sell fellaini and we are all good anyway

With the extra tv money and the potential 25/30M from a Fellaini sale if we don't make CL any smart business men would plan a way to use this to our advantage, have funds available for a push but at the same time worse case scenario if we fail being able to recoup via TV/Fellaini money.

Yet ultimately he's a journalist. I remember people saying the exact same thing about Hunter when this article appeared:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jun/14/tottenham-david-moyes-everton

People uses it to indicate that Moyes is "definitely" going to Spurs.

Journalists exist to write stories that sell papers. Unless there's a direct quote from David Moyes or Bill Kenwright then it's pure speculation and nothing else.
