David Moyes hangover

Moyes was the 3rd longest serving prem manager before leaving us. Is it not reasonable to think that like Man utd and Arsenal, the wheels have come off a bit because of this lack of stability/ change of ethos etc in the dressing room? And then massive changes in the boardroom too? None of it seems to have been handled well but shouldn't we have expected this a bit? And how differently would it have gone if Moyes had still been in charge when Mosh took over and he'd had all that money to spend?

When Moyes went, the whole squad needed a rebuild. Tim Howard, Sylvian Distin, Neville, Osman, Hibbert they were all getting on. And one of the key parts of Moyes team was the success of Baines and Pienaar. Both getting on, and especially Pienaar whose legs had gone.

And Moyes going was his own doing. Not Everton's.

If Moshiri had come in, in Moyes last season. Moyes would have still taken the man Utd job. But the irony is that Carlo Ancelotti was Alex Ferguson's number 1 choice, not Moyes. And we have him now. And Moyes is blowing bubbles.
