David Moyes/Everton Big Game Mentality

This season we've lost our 2 most important games of the season against Wigan and Sunderland. Now I wouldn't mind if we'd have went out there against them and put in good performances only to be beaten by fluke or a simply a better side on the day but instead we put in a spineless performance in both.

Had we won both those games, like on paper we should have, we could currently be sitting 2 points off the Champions League and potentially with an FA Cup Final to play against City (should we have went on the beat Millwall). I know "if's but's an maybe's" but it's very much within the realm of possibility that we could have been in that situation today.

Obviously you can look at the board who have to take a lot of the blame for failing to back Moyes in January but surely Moyes himself has to take some responsibility himself for us yet again bottling it when it matters like we usually do (Semi Final last year, final against Chelsea and probably more I've blocked from memory)

But we have won a lot of massive games this season to make it become a massive game, it was a big game because we were up there challenging for a top 4 place but to be in that position we had to win other massive games, e.g man utd, city ect.

United's a poor example as it was the first game of the season, never really a massive game. Yeah obviously we have had good results this season but simply we've lost the 2 games when it mattered most and played some of our worst football this season during them.
