Apart from being superb value for money, would Coleman be even in the top 5 Moyes signings on ability and overall contribution? Pienaar in before him, I'd even put Fellaini above him too and definitely Distin. Lescott at his best was superb. David Weir? Stones for massive sell-on ?

Dunno, and Jagielka has usually been the weaker member in every defensive partnership he plays in

Depends on what you measure the signing on.

Financially got to be Stones as we bought him for £3m and sold him for £47m.

Impact wise

Cahill shades from Arteta

Even though no one loves him any more, Stones is a shout. 3 million to be sold for 50 a few seasons later. Bizarrely Moyes also had Mustafi and Dier, he could spot a defensive talent no doubt about it.

Let's be honest the only reason we're the only club outside of the 'super six' not to be relegated from the prem is David Moyes. He's built the modern Everton on the back of some brilliant buys whilst the board did jack all. To still have 3/4 of the back 4 made up of your signings after 4 seasons out of the club is ridiculous.
