Hahaha Get a load of this:

It has also been confirmed that a second plane has been booked to fly around the ground at the same time.
While the company involved in that venture is refusing to say who has arranged the flight, or what the second banner will say, it merely heightens an already surreal situation.

2 planes! You couldn't make this stuff up! I wonder what the 2nd plane's banner will say?

David Moyes: 'Sir Alex Ferguson would have struggled this season'
David Moyes says his predecessor as Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson would have struggled at Old Trafford this season.

The ex-Everton boss has been criticised for United's poor performances, with one supporters' group planning to have a plane banner flown in protest.

United are seventh in the Premier League, 26 points worse off than at the same stage under Ferguson last year.

"If Sir Alex was here it would be difficult for him as well," said Moyes.

"It could have been the case no matter what this season, but it has been so un-Man United, which is why we have to look to continue a policy of building, improving, getting better and that's what we'll try and do."

The Scot highlighted the number of United players approaching the end of their careers as evidence even Ferguson, the most successful manager in the British game, would have struggled to improve the side's form.

Midfielder Michael Carrick and defenders Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic are 32, while centre-back Rio Ferdinand is 35 and 40-year-old Ryan Giggs is in his 24th season at the club, now as a player-coach.

"People are aware there is a squad that is ageing, so I think it would have been a tough season for whoever was in charge of Manchester United this year," he said.

I don't think Ferguson would have won the league this season had he still been there, last year no-one was near them and those competing all had fairly forgettable seasons which isn't happening this season. Having said that, Fergie wouldn't have them in the position they're in now either, he'd still have them up there with a chance of winning at least. Moyes is once again downplaying the talent he has to work with and trying to take the pressure off himself.

Thing is though Fergie would have signed more than one player knowing his squad was weak and not done it in a last day panic, paying over the odds.
