does this show Moyes' limitations as a manager, it doesnt matter how good the players are that he has in his team he will still lose away to the big teams, beat the lesser teams at home and finish up about 5th - 7th place every season!? He will always bottle the big games.
Or has this season been about bedding himslef in to the job and they will push on next season
The way that each team got to their 48 points after 29 games is very different I guess, I dont remember any embassarsing losses for us last season (utd have lost at home to WBA, Newcastle, spanked by Liverpool etc)

This was when the doubts solidified for me.

Getting beat with barely a whimper in a cup final of all places confirmed the nagging doubts he was a very ordinary manager. Getting beat is one thing abject surrender quite another.

When it mattered we didn't show and it was a recurring theme with Moyes that got worse the longer he stayed.

Nothing to do with Moyes (I think he did a good job for us but it was time to go), I've grown ambivalent towards him after the summer dealing. I just think it's the only way of preventing the RS getting into the CL, and what a lovely and ironic way it would be.

I suppose it shows how awful city have been in Europe despite the money
