We mugged off Anderlecht, and got him on loan. What the hell? Did we sign him or not?

I think he might have terminated his contract with Olympiakos
His contract was cancelled I think. He defo went to Olympiakos on a full transferDidn't Anderlecht loan him to Olympiacos, then like 3 hours later he was on loan to us?

Everton did sign the 18-year-old Belgium forward David Henen on deadline day, on loan from Olympiakos after he signed for the Greece club from Anderlecht on the same day, and have an option to sign the striker for €500,000 (£398,000) next summer.
So Olympiacos paid the full £3,000,000 Anderlecht demanded from us and then sell him to us for £398,000?http://www.theguardian.com/football...ez-tom-cleverley-manchester-united?CMP=twt_gu

As I understand it Henen terminated his contract with Anderlecht and Olympiacos then paid them some compensation - rumours of around 1-1.5 m but nobody really seems to know, it could be lower. So Olympiacos paid the full £3,000,000 Anderlecht demanded from us and then sell him to us for £398,000?
Either Anderlelecht tried to do one over us and only asked the £3,000,000 from us, or Olympiacos are getting screwed?
This would make sense. My previous question though stands. If during this season with us he fires and looks like being another Ronaldo, do you think Olympiacos will be happy to sell him to us for only £398,000?As I understand it Henen terminated his contract with Anderlecht and Olympiacos then paid them some compensation - rumours of around 1-1.5 m but nobody really seems to know, it could be lower.
We then got him on loan, presumably paying his full wages plus probably a loan fee that would at least cover Olympiacos' out of pocket costs. Haven't see a loan fee discussed but think it would be very odd behaviour of Olympiacos if there wasn't.
We have an option to buy him for half a million euros. If we do, that money is likely the profit for Olympiacos for doing a little bit of paperwork and at a total cost of <2m to us. If we don't, they will get a young player I assume for free and we've had a years trial of him for a lot less than Anderlecht were originally asking for.
I assume it is written into the loan contract that we can buy him at the price. This would make sense. My previous question though stands. If during this season with us he fires and looks like being another Ronaldo, do you think Olympiacos will be happy to sell him to us for only £398,000?
Olympiacos will be hoping he isn't much then I would betI assume it is written into the loan contract that we can buy him at the price.
