Wages though lad. That's why I'm fearful we will sell before we bring in a playmaker. Mirallas probably.

I really don't think we're as skint as people make out, or as people were used to from the early 00's. No PL club is THAT skint anymore with the TV money. We won't be worrying about the wage bill at this moment in time I don't think
 
The Echo are saying we'll sign Henen after his loan spell ends tomorrow and he returns from pre-season with the U21s, so maybe as soon as Wednesday. Then we'll send him out on loan to either Championship or League One club, but we want guarantees about playing time.
 
He's better than League One, so IMO it'll be a waste to send him there.
Championship is okay though, rumours of Neil Lennon scouting him last Season so Bolton could be where he goes. They're desperate for a striker too.

Be good to get him out on loan. Theres talk of bolton, there manager was watching our u21's a bit last season
 
Interesting, I imagined he was going to be our third choice striker this season, just have clause that allows him to be recalled and then recall him if Lukaku or Kone get injured.

In all honestly I'd like to expect he'd go to a Chanpionship club and put in a decent shift.

I'm pretty sure they can in the Championship and below, but not the prem, I saw an article linking two of Chelsea's youngsters both going to Middlesbrough a couple of days ago.
 

I still don't understand why his old club were trying to charge us X amount for him. But then sold him for less than said X amount to another club. Unless the deal with them had lots of add-ons which became void as he never played for them.
