So I have read that he has hinted of a return to the Premiership. I began thinking who he could go too...

I doubt he would go to any of the top three - he would need to be playing most weeks to be seriously in the England frame.

Then I thought Man City would go for him - but I cant see that with his Man Utd past.

Tottenham - Bentley and Lennon

If we got taken over by January, it would make perfect sense for a new owner to give the green light to go for him?...

Feel free to shoot this post down! :P:lol:

If we got a new owner then I'd be looking for players a bit better than Beckham whos looking for a club to support his last england push and the fact he'd ask massive wages. I just couldnt see it happening.

Ive always liked him on current wages i couldnt see it mate, nor could i see him not playing in London. I wouldnt be surprised if he ended up in London, he has close ties to arsenal, and isnt he from the east london - west ham me thinks!

I thought that, but aren't they skint?

From a new owners perspective, Beckham would make perfect sense. He would raise the clubs profile and if you want to show off owning a football club, what better way to do it than have such a footballing icon in your team?

Danny a few years ago I would have agreed, but think he is pat it now what little pace he had has gone and you would have to carry him just for his dead ball ability I doubt that Moyse would consider it ,remember Gazza when he was protected he did a reasonable job but once he was on his own(Middlesboro?)he was a disaster(y)

Pace?

Since when has David Beckham had pace? He has never been one to beat men down the wing.

Pace isn't really an issue, I would have him just for his set pieces and his ability to pick a pass - one of the best in the game.

Yeah WHU are skint mate, but i beleive there actively looking for abuyer and lets face it the London clubs never have a prob on that score.

Very underated player, im not biased or anything with the England thing asd im Irish. But people either seem to think hes amazing or [Poor language removed], the truths possibly in between, ive always and still think hes an excellent player. Ha ha could you imagine posh in Goodison!

I'd probably take him for his set plays, but it would have to be well below his current wage. If he goes anywhere it would probably be to the hammers. He has a strong interest in youth development, West Ham have a great reputation for their youth set up. Becks always has a eye to his future the hammers may be attractive to see out his playing career and set him up beyond.

Danny read what I said" what little pace " as in not very quicknow hes even slower(y)

As a squad player I'd have him, someone who can come in and effect games from set pieces, freekicks etc. I'd hate to see him starting though, he just isn't the player he was.

He's never had pace so that wouldn't be an issue but his legs are actually going, he's struggling to keep up in slow international games so the pace of the Prem would be far too much for him.

If we are looking at a winger we should be looking for someone with pace, someone who is direct and someone who can go past opposition players. There are two or three players in the Championship who could do a job, a young nigerian lad at Inter aswell.(y)
