Just don't rate him mate, maybe it's a personal thing? Apart from scoring against city that is.

For me he is our best cm when fit. More adventurous passing than McCarthy or Barry and more aggression than Barry. Bit more of a leader on the pitch than either of those two. He improves our defensive record as well. We just look more solid with him playing but i fear Maryinez will be loathe to break up McCarthy and Barry unless injury strikes.

I'd really like to see a run of Gibbo and McCarthy in the middle, could be a very dynamic partnership. But I can't see Gibson going more than a few months without injury, seems he's just one of those players unfortunately.

Good to see him back playing and competitively by the looks of things.

Cant see him starting against West Brom, but maybe against Wolfsburg the following game.

Obviously watched Paul Scholes in training on how to tackle! - that in a prem game would have been a straight red!
not up to match fitness just yet by the looks of that tackle!

Yes if the ref had got the Tim Howard handling the ball outside the pen area , and Gibbo would have snapped Fabregas as you say we would have been down to 9 men!

The ref was daft though. Didn't send Howard off so Gibbo probably would have got away with it.

Perhaps if McCarthy had snapped Hazard Coleman wouldn't have scored an og.

We need a leg breaker.

Unleash Gibson and Besic.
