Be absolutely fuming as a Sunderland fan though, Anichebe, Peinaar, Rodwell, potentially Lescott and Gibson too...Moyes hasn't learnt a new trick in about a decade.

Tbf Rodwell was there before he joined.

Also Sunderland are massively in debt and can't afford to spend much. Pienaar and Anichebe on frees weren't the worst bits of business, Big Vic has a 1 in 2 record, he's just been injured a lot.

Gibson is a fine player on his day and easily score a couple of goals which could see them stay up.

Good post I don't think many on here realise how bad our midfield is he'd probably be our best player when fit

He hasn’t actually been injured in ages now. Just would be way off match fitness.

He’s a divvy, and I’ll be made up to get rid of him, but if you get a runner alongside him I think he’ll make a massive difference for Sunderland. Great passing range.

Why would he spend £13.5 million on Niasse? He's an inept clown who left us deep in the brown stuff.

When is Kirchoff fit? He'd be similar I think, but I suspect he may be finished at the top level tbh. The guy is too unprofessional.

Kirchoff is more of a 'destroyer' type tbh. Better in the tackle than Gibbo but not exactly the best passer from what I've seen.

Gibson isn't exactly great in the tackle, but has a very good passing range so as some have said (may even be yourself) with a runner alongside him he'd probably do okay.

We're all acting like this move is happening though yet there's very little evidence of it isn't there?

Ive got a mate who works in Sunderland Wetherspoons and he said three hours ago some Irish guy came in and asked him to hide a cyclists helmet.
He asked him what he was doing in sunderland and he said 'shhhhhighn sundelnsdmoyshe'

And my mate said 'oh right youre darron gibson arent you? thought you were banned from all our pubs though'

Could be BS but just passing on what i've been told.
