..the fact that he driven after drinking is one thing, compounded by him hitting somebody and then leaving the scene of the accident. It's a poor reflection of Gibson the man. As for Gibson the footballer, there is a scoreboard of factors that reflect his worth, including performance and injuries. I haven't read the full thread and I'm not sure how long he has on his contract but it might be difficult to sack him without compensation for the remainder.

Not if it's classed as gross misconduct; he wouldn't get a brass farthing.

I do think he's heavily over rated by some aspects of the squad

Some have even gone as far to say that he's one of the best midfielders in the league

I think he's decent when fit, but that's all IMO

Ultimately it's a moot point.

If you don't actually get on the pitch, then whether you're Zidane or Zigic, you have the same impact.

Love em

But have you seen John Bailey recently?

I do genuinely think that Gibson has an issue. He needs help and hopefully he gets it. If the club helps him on his way to getting that help, then all the better IMO
Agreed, that coupled with wanting the cyclist to be unharmed are the two most important things. The law will deal rightfully with him for being a selfish and foolish tit in their own time.
