We're pretty spoilt for choice in centre mid at the mo aren't we. We've not even mentioned psycho Besic, who looks every inch a class act.

I'm sure we could work out a way to play 3 centre mids.

I think there will deffo be games where we do that mate. We were playing 433 on and off yesterday so i can see 3 of the 4 midfielders getting paired together. Nice to have options in the middle of the park for the first time in a long time.

Provided everyone is fit, think we might see Besic & Gibson together against West Brom on the 13th saving Barry & McCarthy for the Europa game on the 18th, and then for the league cup game on the 24th Sept with Barry/McCarthy back for the derby on the 27th.

McCarthy just needs to stop getting a nose bleed when he bombs forward. He made a great surging run yesterday and absolutely crapped himself, stopped, slowed play down and played the ball back 30 yards and we started again. He has to work on that aspect big time but he has said as much himself.

Well given the extra games IMO we need 4 CM players to choose from. IF Gibson was to go (which I really can't see bobby doing) he'd need replacing. Unless of course bobby thinks Ledson is ready to be 4th choice (which again I'm not sure he would)
