You know, when we sold Arteta, I thought there'd be uproar if we didn't reinvest the money. I said to my mate "There's no way Kenwright will survive this". Well, it's not being reinvested, and I don't see any uproar. As a group we just seem to be apathetic towards the whole thing, myself included. It's sad. I'm accepting my club signing players like Gibson, and not getting angry about it. I just don't care.

You'll not see me put myself between the heat and the EFC board.

Moyes defo as he's trying to do his best for EFC. He's the man that's brought us this type of thing:

The board. Nada. The opposite infact.

They're the one's that have been commercially inept. Which has meant the club's commercial revenue is £20million per year less than it should be for a club our size.

Or maybe he just found it hard to get a run of games ahead of Giggs, Scholes, Nani, Ronaldo, Carrick, Anderson and Rooney (when he played LM for a season) which is no disgrace. Any player would find it difficult to reach his potential without regular playing time which Gibson has never had, we have seen this ourselves with Rodwell. Im not delighted by him signing all im saying is that we cannot judge him until he has played for us.
I suppose. But it says a lot that when Carrick, Fletcher, Cleverley and Anderson, are all out long term Gibson still doesn't make the side and SAF prefers to play Park or Giggs in centre mid.

Hopefully he will get a good run of games with us, grow in confidence, and get in the squad for the Euros. It's unbelievable that some on here are writing him off without giving him a chance to prove himself. Especially people who claim to be Ireland fans.

Even if he signs, the first lesson he'll be taught is " HOW TO DEFEND THE MOYES WAY "... So forget all his long range goals cos Moyes can even make Messi look gash instilling the defensive duties in every player he signs.

That's surely a dig at me?

I'm not writing him off. I've said he'll have my full support, and I hope he can unearth whatever Fergie seemingly saw in him years ago.

However from what I've seen of him (a decent amount) I can't be excited with this transfer, at this moment. Not even pleased.

You mean make him a better all round player there?

Yeah you're right he will.

Moyes has also brought us this.

Who would bet against there being a news story like this in a couple of years:

'In a sensational turn of events, Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee with Everton for the highly rated midfielder Darron Gibson. The 27 year old began his career at Manchester United but struggled to shine, and his transfer to Everton at the beginning of 2012 is seen by many as what made him the player he is today. Gibson has 34 caps for the Republic of Ireland, and as captain lead Everton to 5th place in the league last season. Gibson will re-join old team mates Ross Barkley and Jack Rodwell, currently Harry Redknapp's first choice Centre Back for the England national team.'

Nailed on.

Moyes adding a defensive side to Gibson's game can only be a good thing.

It's when it comes at the expense of the attacking side when it becomes a problem.
