I'd be surprised to see Pienaar playing LM next season, if he comes to us.

I think he's proven he can run our offensive game himself and perhaps centrally he'd be more devastating. Pranjic on the left with Pienaar central could be a great combination.

We definitely want Donovan and Dempsey but the board are reluctant to splash out on players in there 30's who will have no re-sale value.

Were willing to sell the likes of Yobo, Anichebe and Cahill (who as big offers on the table for him from clubs from China, Dubai & Saudi Arabia and at a fee from anything from 2-4m) so that we can be able to afford to sign the likes of Donovan and Dempsey.

Apparently we have a little bit of money as it is and thats being used on Pienaar and were trying to haggle Spurs asking price down. To be able to get the likes of Donovan & Dempsey we have to sell fringe players to be able to do that.

But IF we sell Baines then none of the above will be a problem will it?!.

And as for Elia, it turns out the links to him was bollox, which IMO is a shame cos he's quality, just had a bad time of it in Italy.

Elia and Castagonis would do me....they would potentially be two top fast young players for us.

Would be happy ro see yobo / anichebe / cahill move on....would be amazed if we got 2mil + for cahill....

Disappointed about Elia link....he's potentially a top player....


Donovan and Dempsey would be nice but theyre at their peak now, would be nice to go in for young lads who can improve and develop....

He says Dempsey 6mil....also Pienaar and Donovan our 3 top targets + Pranjic and Naismith squad players.....

That would effectively mean 4 players over 30 in and one guy who has had bad injuries (not that im against that gamble)....

We'll see.
