What a shame. How has the previous Aussie 'wonderkid' Terry Antonis done since something similar happened to his deal to join us?

Had a few injuries nothing serious they just start to add up, currently plays for Sydney FC over here, trialled with Borussia Monchengladbach last year, doesn't seem to be as good as he could of been, different level of development :(

Never really believed the hype in him tho, got way too overhyped when he did a juggling video which got him into a video with Beckham, only reason he got so much attention was because of Cahill

Could do the same with Leroy Fer for the summer too while were at it - the guy has played non-stop since we disowned him

But he might get injured in the future, mate.

Everton aren't in a position to sign players who might get injured, we can only invest in players who definitely won't get injured in the future.

Thought I just might add that this kid is in the squad for Perth Glory against Sydney FC, could come off the bench to face Del Piero or Lucash Neill, really hope we have some kind of deal to get him in the next few years

Don't know if everton will return the interest in him when he turns 18 and can get a work visa, but his been named in the Australian U20 world cup squad, youngest player in the team, playing with players up to 5 years old than him (he turned 16 earlier in the year, some 21 year olds in the world cup squad due to being able to play if you played in qualifier)

this lad plays for my local team in Australia Perth Glory. Standard of the league is about league one having a guess. Biggest problem in Oz footy at the minute is the standard of pitches and coaching. The turfs they play on over here are dreadful they look like rugby tracks. But anyway this lad is very vey talented Made his debut at 15 and was generally the first choice sub. Seen him live a couple of times was very impressed got tidy feet and can pick a pass pretty good.

The current head coach of Perth is also the Australian under 21's coach so I expect him to feature a lot next season.

Gday Aussies.

Expecting some back up for the Ashes thread later this year so stick around.
