Col de Colombiere
Col De Aravis
Col de Saises
Cormet de Roseland

Day 2: Bourg Saint Maurice- Briancon
Col D'Isaren
Col De Telegraph
Col De Galbier

Day 3: Briancon-Nice
Col D'Izoard
Col Du Vars
Col de la Bonnette
Col de Saint Martin
How are you getting on?

I'll be tackling Mont Ventoux on Tuesday, anyone done it?
Not done that one myself - but know a couple of folk who have had problems with the weather on it, blowing an absolute hoolie up top if the mistral comes in. So reckon a close scrutiny of the forecast is in order - hope you get a nice day for it.

That was a long day... 13 hours from door to door.

If you've never done the col de romme... keep it that way. 9km @ 11%. Evil.

First day was great until I stopped... then things got weird. Cramps all over, shivering loads, sweating buckets.

Got over the Iseran yesterday and down the valley but threw up 3 times on the telegraphe... I have the sneaking suspicion I may be unwell.

Came back down and took a hotel but still feel rubbish this morning. No point destroying myself so I'll roll down the valley to chambery and take a train home... after all I'm doing this for fun.

Stay healthy mate. The last thing you want is to be up a mountain unwell, especially if the weather turned.

I've done a fair few similar climbs but as you say its reputation for being a bit blustery which is slightly worrying. Ive only got Tuesday to do it so hopefully I have a good day!

It's always windy up there... it's just sometimes impossibly windy.

Good luck and enjoy!

Weather is absolutely scorching all over the south at the moment.

Team sky or whatever they are called pulling as many riders as possible from the world champs, a horrible organisation that continues to be bad for the sport

Is it them that's pulling them? Sounds like Thomas has just been on the jolly, which is strange given he's not had the greatest season and this could be a last hurrah given that he'll surely be a super domestique next season. Bizarre from him, especially as GB need a good showing in the TT to get 2 spots in the Olympics TT, which again you'd imagine he might target.

Claim doesn't really stack up given how many of their riders have ridden and performed at the worlds over the years...

Thomas will still ride the road race too
