Cardoso caught using EPO. Good that it happened now and not during the TDF 2017. This is a blow for Contador.

He says he is not guilty ...

Should think the rain will neutralise the race here.

On a side note, it's Maratona day tomorrow. Very excited. Had an awesome week of riding in the dolomites.

Bardet has a crappy meteorologist. He started early to have a dry track; obviously it's not dry and he was also off with his wind predictions.

Good luck tomorrow.

ffs Valverde seems to have broken his leg. How unlucky.

@ilikecheese It's more about the position on the bike, the gears they are pushing, what kind of bike they are using (the tires, brakes ...), how they take the corners... . It's a very difficult part of cycling.

well that has ruined my next 3 weeks. Tour already over... dont think i'll bother watching the Sky train destroy the field for 3 weeks.

..I'll be watching lots of the live coverage of TdF. I was never a fan until I backed Cadel Evans at 25-1 when he won some years back and that got me really interested in it. I like it, and Mrs Eggs tunes in as well.

Who do you think will win today; Kittel, Greippel, Demare, Sagan, Cavendish, Groenewegen, Bouhanni, Degenkolb, Kristoff?

...I'm no expert, fella. I presume it'll go to a sprinter and noticed Kittel had a puncture an hour or so ago but he was quickly back in the race. Cavendish winning another stage would be good for the IOM, but I wouldn't know who'll come out on top.

I am hoping for Kittel or Greipel; with Sagan second (traditions and all that). Cavendish would surprise me since he has been out with glandular fever , his form can't be all that atm, recently in the Tour of Slovenia he was beaten by Sam Bennett.
