Seeing 8 Ineos riders at the front of the peloton yesterday crossing the finish line told you everything you need to know. They may not take yellow tomorrow - and it may suit them not to - but, if not, they will next week.

You’ve got to believe that Ineos have multi plans to switch to if Plan A doesn’t work and with Luke Rowe implementing them on the road it’s a big advantage , plus we've still to see the immense Wout Poels hit his stride yet , a few glimpses of him dropping back through the peloton at times conserving himself to help G and Bernal in the coming days. Looking forward to this.

Can't see anybody out working them. They seem to have just rolled through the last week while everybody else pushes the limits to keep in touch. Today should sort some of the chaff before a big week of climbing.

They have a team of experts for racing in the high mountains. DQS and Jumbo don't have that depth of quality. But if they got together to attack Ineos then they may get somewhere. A Dutch speaking alliance?

It's the only way, but there is no chance a GC contender will sacrifice himself for someone on another team. Not in the Tour.
