The problem for the rest of us is that their Ross and Rachel, will they/won't they story arc remains unresolved. I need closure - I vote to reopen it.

I want the CA forum reinstated. I also want my privileges to post there reinstated, but since my opinions are WHITE HOT and may cause blindness among the ignorant and the right-wingish (but I repeat myself), I'll settle for read-only CA privileges, for I am also an open-hearted lover of humanity who appreciates that every stupid post was once somebody's baby and all babies, after all, are stupid. Cant remmember which one banned me but i pm’d them all and they wouldnt let me back, didnt get 3 strikes just one i think

I can appreciate that from a forum hosting/moderation team point of view it often caused headaches and so can understand the temporary closure and if that decision is made permanent.

However, and a bit like twitter, I found it a great source of information/views/discussion I otherwise would not have ready access to and would really miss it, and what Everton has left of my sanity, if I had to endure the 2024 US election without it as a vent mechanism!

The trolls are tiresome but generally out themselves fairly quickly if you use a heavy hand with blocking/ignoring but some of the responses to them can also be informative/hilarious so even their presence isn‘t all negative.

Agree. I found plenty to read in there and information posted that wasn't even in the news! The Ukraine thread was particularly interesting at times.
