Cup Final tickets

that pisses me off aswell, every club in the football league gets a certain percent. i'm sure bradley wright phillips of the now coca league 1 team southampton can't wait to sit down and sing his heart out for everton or chelsea. joke, end of, everybody should boycott the final, i'm serious, it's the only way they're gonna realise fans have been sh1t on for far too long.
and whats the point in telling us that there are tickets for £34 when we probably won't even see any of them.

i don't mind players getting tickets for their families and that like but clubs who aren't even in the fa cup come the 3rd round get to watch our team in it's biggest game for 14 years. (n):@

I think if your a season ticket holder in order to get a final ticket you would have had to have gone the semi-final aswell as have credits, sounds fair too.
No don't quite agree. I am a season ticket holder with 6 aways, but working away for the semi-final. I could have claimed my ticket and sold it on , but thats not the game. So does that mean I am penalised because I didn't claim the ticket for the semi?.

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone says he is disappointed at the ticket allocation given to the club for the FA Cup final against Chelsea on 30 May.

The Football Association announced on Thursday that both clubs will receive 25,000 tickets for the game.
Wembley has a 90,000 capacity meaning that 40,000 tickets will be given to what is called "the football family".

"We are obviously disappointed at the number of tickets we have received," Elstone told the Everton website.

"The challenge for us now is to make sure that these tickets are distributed fairly amongst the Everton fanbase."

Chelsea have revealed that the size of their allocation means it is unlikely there will be sufficient tickets for all of Chelsea's hospitality and non-hospitality season ticket holders.

However, they too said on their official website they intend to "ensure there will be as fair an allocation of the tickets as possible in line with the club's ticketing policy."

Tickets that are not allocated to either club are distributed to alternative groups which include the regional FAs and referees, sponsors and charity partners.

Last year, 17,000 tickets went to Club Wembley - the 10-year season ticket allocation which were sold to help cover the cost of building the ground.

The FA also revealed on Thursday that tickets will be priced in four categories: £34.30, £58.65, £78.30 and £93.

These are the same pricing levels as for the 2008 final, amended to take into account the VAT reduction.

It has been revealed that Cup final tickets are being offered for sale on the internet before they are issued to football clubs with prices reaching over £1000.

In response the FA have launched a new 'Out the Touts' campaign designed to crack down on such illegal selling of tickets by requesting fans who have purchased tickets to send them to the FA in order that the origin can be traced.

from what I have heard there should hopefully be enough tickets for all season ticket holders as think we only have around 22.000 s t holders.

Hope this is correct.

I have 5 stubbs too so hopefully can get a ticket

So far -
90,000 seater stadium
50,000 to both fans or so.
40,000 to the "Football Family" or corporate boxes etc.
25,000 to Everton FC
22,000 season ticket holders. Will they be allocated about a maximum of say 3 each?

Chance of me getting a ticket? 0. Load of bollllocks. And probably at £90 a throw? Thanks alot the FA. I'll enjoy the match from the comfort of me local.

Being dumb but who are the "Football Family"? Is it the players families, like? Surely that doesnt rack up to even 10,000 people never mind the 40,000 that arent going to the fans.

The regional FA's get a share of approx 25,000

FA's such as the Cumbrian FA, Yorkshire FA, Birmingham FA, ETC, see where I'm going? FA's get to distribute their tickets to children from their local areas from schools and clubs/teams, FA Officials blah blah blah who probably dont even know who are playing. the rest go the members of Club Wembley (like season ticket holders for any event that takes place at the stadium). Its a joke that so many, if any at all, should be distributed to people who couldnt give a flying **** who wins and will have forgotten about it by the time they get home.

IMO it should be 45k to one club, 45k to the other, simple, then if the club wants to set some aside to local kids in local schools who actually support the teams playing then fair doo's. :@

I'm hopeful of getting one though.

I dont agree with that.

There should be the tickets for the guys that chipped in to build the Stadium, and the rest should go to the clubs.

Just reward for actually getting to the final.

Exactly, the amount of ticket not going to the fans is 40% of the stadium. That is almost half a stadium filled with people who do not support either team watching the game as if they just bought tickets to Chester zoo, gawping and aweing, but not really giving a shiit because the tickets were free from a business etc.

The whole point of having the final at Wembley was the fact that is what all that hard work went into to get there, the fans who've spent an entire season wanting to get to this point. Having the semi at Wembley knocks that on the head and, as argued, makes it a little less special.

But what makes it even worst is that there are less tickets available for the FINAL than the SEMI FINAL.

And 40,000?! There are 40,000 "football family" people out there? I dont buy that!

I cant believe that everyone thinks it should suddenly be changed.

The FA cup final situation has been like this for years and at the old wembley and while it was at the millenium it was worse the clubs only got 20,000 each.

The Club Wembley people have paid for a 10 year license that GUARANTEES FA Cup final tickets they cannot break this arrangment as if they did they would have to give back the license fees and these are not one off arrangments they are rolling agreements and will go on for ever as when the 10 year licenses are up they will charge the customers again. £4,700 minimum upto £20,000 maximum per seat.

Therefore out of 90,000 17,000 are gone for ever nothing anyone says can ever change that so that leaves 73,000.

This is the figure that people have to fight about it is disgusting that every FA affliated league gets tickets for this gameif they want to reward the grass roots people they should give them access to England games they rarely sell out any way.

The FA do need to keep someback for themselves and the sponsors so you pretty much have to give up approxiamately another 8,000 to keep the FA bigwigs and sponsors.

That leaves a pot of 65,000 split amongst 2 that leaves 32,500 that is only another 7,500 each that every one is getting their knickers in a twist about.

As long as the season ticket holders all get most other people cant have much of an argument as its about supporting your team for the season through thick and thin regardless of success

30% extra seems well worth having, imo.

thats over 25% less, as someone mentioned on top of 25,000 thats another 30%. lets not forget that out of the 25,000 the players ,officials etc will be taken as well. i reckon there will be some s.t.'s that miss out.

i may be wrong like
