My eldest son lives in Austin. As he was leaving work the other day, three men were walking in the middle of the narrow path out of the car park and wouldn't move to the side until my son honked his car horn at them. Prior to honking, he took a photo of them with his phone - just in case (young people do things like this). He thought he recognized one of the men in the photo and shared it with me to confirm. Sure enough, it was Alex Jones. Apparently InfoWars has a studio/office in the same complex.

I thought about telling my boy that if the same thing happens to run over Jones' ass and claim it was self-defense. But I didn't.

Not read the book, but have seen the film with Samuel L Jackson. A superb, if very difficult watch.

It's a fair comparison given what the parents went through as a result of this. I believe some of them had to go into hiding as they were threatened by some of Jones' followers for being 'crisis actors'
Imagine losing your child in such away, not only having that oaf call you a liar, but then having his brain dead followers threaten to turn up at your house over it.
Vile man, hope they strip him of every last penny.

It’s something I can never get over. He’s made a lot of money by telling people that dead kids aren’t dead. How anyone can stand to be in the same room as him is beyond me.

The amount of posts I've seen painting jones as the victim is very disturbing, this is in the UK as well. Most go on to say this isn't about jones it's about freedom of speech as if civil courts have only existed in the last 5 years or something and that freedom of speech mean zero consequences to say whatever you like and the popularity of their hate talk will be decided in some libertarian public sphere of masturbation. They always go on to state that jones is unfairly painted as far right and forget to talk about the pain he has caused from monetizing the vilification of victims of a mass shooting, this is where lazy stand up comics, dim podasters looking for a quick buck and insincere politicians are leading people. The phoney culture wars are already peoples main focus and it is already a vote winner in the US and will be here too as the pain and suffering caused by right wing politics goes unchecked and anti-education legislation and banning of books gets passed without a single word from gervais or rogan.

They've become an utter car crash of a club lately. A heap of players they're paying huge salaries to that they can't shift, and until they do shift they can't register the players they've spent huge sums buying. They make Everton look well run.
