Used to love Twitter, was an early adopter, and remember when it was just a fun place to share funny stuff, and interact with people.

It was knackered well before Musk took over, but he’s accelerated it’s decline into the hellhole it is now.

I got off it, about 6 months after Musk took over, as the more extreme content (and increase in Ads) was being pushed at me at an alarming rate.

It’s now culminating in the misinformation freely pedalled, and encouraged by Musk, being the driving force behind turning a vigil for murdered children into a far right riot, deliberately steered against Muslims, by bot accounts, Russian dissenters, and useful idiots on the right who gleefully pedal and promote this agenda for clicks, which Twitter then rewards them for.

Musk has successfully turned that platform into a misinformation haven, and recruitment tool for far right extremism, exactly as he intended.

Just like YouTube, monetisations has killed it or removed any crumb of sincerity they had. People are making money by keeping the public occupied with arguments and disingenuous views. The fun has gone out of it. It’s partly why I like this forum, it still retains some aspects of pre social mobile media engagement

That's very polite of him. Robinson breaks the law of slander - again - and he gives him 3 months to leisurely make up his mind to attend court. What a gentleman.

I somehow doubt he'd be as lenient with anyone on the left who they issued an arrest warrant for.
