It’s mad how aggressively targeted I am with recommended reels etc. lots of chem trail stuff, loads of pseudo science like that fraud actor from Ironman or something on Joe Rogan talking about the periodic table and also weirdly more recently dead bodies and litter on Everest.

You can see how easily someone can slip into a rabbit hole. Not me though as I’m clever.

I will engage with videos more associated with the left but I get nowhere near as much suggested content.

Same. It's absolutely ridiculous. I get loads of conservative content pushed at me, too, despite normally muting it when it appears.

I innocently expected this to be going along the lines of weinstein and that monster that owned abercrombie & fitch. "preying upon music" so to speak. Which band was it in the us that ended up in court for about 5 minutes because someone accused them of putting disturbing messages in their records when played backwards?

And this is another aspect of media extrapolation. There used to be no room for the crackpots on the tv or radio or whatever, but now that the entire planet has become one huge 'content creator' there's and endless supply of inane and downright dangerous individuals all battling for their moment in the limelight. Bring back the bad old days when the height of attention seeking was so easily recognisable as.....

I get a fair number of Rogan ads on my PC. It also keeps trying to sell me American Bar Association membership and MBA programs.

Apparently, this is what happens when someone with my browsing history rejects all cookies. Advertisers don't know what to think, so they just scattergun it.
