They're as bad as each other my friend.

The Tories are a shambles at this point but lets not overlook fascist ideology such as allowing 16 year old kids to start having sex changes when they aint old enough to vote in an election or drink a beer yet can make life changing decisions with no life experience.

this is hugely immoral and just another step down the road to society eating away at itself.
Why are you freaking out about a few individuals? It’s totally bizarre, other than being a typical gammon reaction

1. IT'S AN AVERAGE OF 6 YEARS YOU LOON.

2. Schizophrenia is dangerous to the health and safety of the sufferer and those around them. That is a shockingly ignorant and offensive comparison.

3. "Gender dysphoria is not a mental illness, but some people may develop mental health problems because of gender dysphoria." Not my words, the words of the NHS

4. Spending time, money and effort chasing trans-votes is stupid. Because there are a vanishingly small number of trans people.

Once again... Watch the video, you might learn something.

Gender Dysphoria is not considered a mental health illness because trans are lumped in the LGBTQ umbrella so to label it as such means you start labelling homosexuality etc. which opens up a huge can of worms (and is also wrong as homosexuality is based on preference of sexual attraction). But by the letter of the law gender dysphoria is a mental health illness.

Also 6 years is nothing - that means currently a 22-24 year old can be fully transitioned.

At 22 I didnt know who I was as a person never mind at 16. The human brain also doesn't full develop until 25-28 for most human adults.

1. You literally said it was classified as a mental illness. It isn't. Your definition of a mental illness is not the same as people who decide what a mental illness is.

2. That's 6 years BEFORE you get any treatment. Not to fully transition. And it's a nightmare of a process.

3. At 22 did you know what gender you wanted to be?

Its not defined because of political correctness not science mate - thats ultimately the truth. If it wasn't a genuine mental illness you wouldn't require gender reassignment, counselling, therapy etc.

And that in itself shows that society still shows prejudice against mental illness which shouldn't be seen as something to be ashamed of yet we still tip toe around it to a large extent.

At 22 most people did things they no longer do now, they were in relationships they are no longer in now, they believed things they no longer believe now. Heck I went to uni with a bird who dated lads and fast forward a decade and she's in a relationship with a woman.

So this idea that a 16 year old boy who feels like he should be a girl is guaranteed to still feel that way at age 30-40 is wrong. Also even if they do feel that way - many people who've undergone gender reassignment still go on to suffer depression, self harm, attempt suicide - so ask the question is gender reassignment really the cure for this condition or does there need to be alternative treatment either in its place or alongside reassignment ?

You don't get to decide what a mental illness is. Medical science does. This is yet another "I do my own research" anti-fact.

If you knew you were male at 22, why can't a trans person know what gender they are? As to your idiot analogy about that "bird" you know: Firstly, you should maybe have a long conversation with her about this stuff. Secondly, you're undermining what you think is your argument. Why should she have to choose a definitive sexual identity at any point in her life? Can't she just fancy some people and not others regardless of the contents of their pants?

As to the bit in bold, well it couldn't hurt could it? Letting people live the life they want.

If you dont believe gender dysphoria isn't a mental illness then you don't really understand what mental illness actually is my friend. It also shows a level of prejudice because by extension you/society refuse to call it that because it has negative connotations and you're scared of being labelled a transphobe or offending someone - why is society still in the dark ages when it comes to our understanding and acceptance of mental illness, mental health etc ?

I care about society and the good of man and how we bring up our future generations. No one can tell me our society is improving we're regressing pal.
