Just to add to this while I have the time (And before the usual suspects come in bleating about the usual nonsense)
Something like this has been brewing for a while (The Pulse nightclub shooting also) in the US.
A lot of heavily armed maniacs looking for a call to action.
We saw it with the Pizza-Gate nonsense a few years back and that was just a crazy conspiracy theory parroted by the QAnon crowd. Yet still an armed man turned up to a restaurant armed with the intention of rescuing these non-existent captive children.
'Pizzagate' gunman sentenced to four years
The gunman was pursuing bogus claims the pizzeria hosted a child sex ring linked to Hillary Clinton.

This time we have another "our children are in danger" call, but this time coming from section of the media (Fox news and the like) along with members of the Christian Nationalists (including politicians) making all sorts of dangerous allegations and stirring up trans-phobic and indeed LGBT hatred along the way.
@LinekersLegs posted this in the American Shooting thread and gives a horrifying look at the mentality of the people behind this rhetoric.
They genuinely believe that God has their back in all of this.
It's no wonder that so many LGBT people in America (Especially Trans people) are saying that they do not feel safe in their country.
I'll be very surprised if a targeted shooting like this doesn't happen again.
When I speak out about things like this on here, it isn't me being 'woke' or a 'snowflake' or a 'social justice warrior'
It's pure incandescent rage that we are still having to go through all this crap and justify our own existence to these f***in' neanderthals in the year 2022.
