Going back to the Nazi groups in Ukraine, the issue is not exclusive to Ukraine. The rise of far right groups is a major problem all over Eastern Europe and part of central Europe. Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine and especially Russia. Anyone who's been to a tourist destination that's also popular with Russians might know what I'm talking about. I remember walking along a certain beach in SE Asia and the amount of enormous, musclebound Russians with gigantic swastika tattoos on their arms and chests is crazy.

It is right that there should be some discussion about what happens when this conflict is over to all the weapons and military hardware that's in the hands of these types of groups, far right, criminal or otherwise. Be that equipment supplied by NATO or abandoned by the Russians.
At the moment it's "enemy of my enemy" and all that, but what happens if surface to air systems start being sold off on the 'black market' after all this is done? Just imagining what happens if something like that got into the hands of other certain groups doesn't bear thinking about really.

Aye in Cambodia there were loads. Was a lot of money laundering going on I was told. Don’t like generalising but didn’t meet that many that were backpacking or seeing the sights. Always seemed to treat the locals like [Poor language removed] as well.

If you knew who I was then that one sentence proves otherwise.

Funny how you can't be arsed arguing about me in a thread that isn't about me and it's in reply to a contribution to the thread.

Can you not see how ridicuous you sound? You can't be arsed arguing about me? Why am I so important to you that it would even be a thing, that you reply to a post and make it about me only to say that? ?

It's pathetic really. A pathetic attempt to rile up a poster because you have nothing to contribute to the subject. Speaks more about you to be honest.

Hi mate can you stream your next wedding for us please x

Cloning Ash/Kenshin/Ghost Rider would be the equivalent of printing money for culture war grifters

someone who is good at memes etc could use this as one with the Ash man evolution:

Add western Europe into your list too. Given covid and an impending recession due to a war, we're getting into tinderbox territory right now.

He'll you could argue that the storming of the Capitol Building in the US was an attempted far right coup.

I don't know if they're all nazis, but there's a lot of extremists out there and being out on the fringe they're well ensconced on what is borderline or outright illegal.

This world ey? What a disaster we could make of it if we're not more careful.

Decent read:

Good article, that. Funnily enough, for years I’ve listened to a podcast - Very Bad Wizards - presented by Dave Pizarro and Tamler Sommers, psychology and philosophy professors respectively.

Tamler is Christina Sommers’ (the main subject of that article) stepson, and they have a yearly Xmas feature where Tamler and Christina record a boozy Xmas conversation which inevitably turns into a fight between the two of them.

The article also mentions Dave Rubin, who must be one of the stupidest people ever to profit from this right wing grift. The guy lives in a multi million dollar house in California, has 10s of thousands of patrons and subscribers and is as dumb as a bag of bricks.
