Seems one of the biggest grifts in recent times is none other than Black Lives Matter.
Accusations of not doing anything to help black communities , staff leaving due to not being told the truth , leader leaves after millions goes missing and she is buying property up, not confirmed as of today however where that money came from. To this day BLM have not disclosed where any of the 60-90 million dollars have gone to. It was mentioned a year ago where it intended to go but never actually shown which is raising a lot of suspicion.
They riled the western world up but many black voices are questioning the very nature of what white people got behind now. Much the same as many black voices are questioning the element of having George Floyd as the catalyst for what happened.
Who knows the truth on this? Speaks volumes when black voices are slowly starting to question it.

Seems grifting is being done on both sides of the spectrum
I wondered aloud in one of the threads here, about what Covid conspiracists would move onto, given the virus becoming endemic, and restrictions being lifted. Obviously didn't guess it would be this, but it was predicable that the grifters would have to find a new grift.
Had a quick scroll of Nawaz’s timeline, and he goes from ‘the MSM are hiding Ukraine’s Nazi problem’, to ‘the MSM‘s narrative has collapsed, as they discuss Ukraine’s Nazi problem’.
It’s been quite sad to see his descent into the conspiratorial grift, as his book on getting out of a radicalised Islamist group was quite thoughtful and insightful.

Yep. My facebook feed has people who have gone from anti vax stuff to pro Russia stuff. Its all the same people.
Whole lotta dubious sources here. The Washington Examiner is very right wing and they cite themselves, the New York Post, and the Daily Caller (all right wing sources) in almost every hyperlink. The Daily Caller, in particular, has been trying to cast BLM in a negative light forever. To say BLM is a grift is not true as it's a huge movement of people and quite decentered; perhaps there is some mismanagement of funds, but I'm not gonna take the Daily Caller/Washington Examiner's word for it--you should have at least cited the New York Magazine piece.
Importantly, BLM and the BLMGN are different things. The latter is a foundation that seemingly appropriated funds and misused them (what the Washington Examiner article is referring to) and also owns the domain name blacklivesmatter.com (and also has independent-acting charters), but the former is a decentralized movement that does a lot of justifiable local protests based police injustices and other topics.
As to the podcaster, they are welcome to their views, I'm fine with that. Support (or some support) for BLM is still about >80% among black people, so 4 out of 5.
Sourcing and truth are mere inconveniences when the entire point is bothsidesism.
I had started to respond to his nonsense but gave up because lately I feel what's the point haha! So fair play good answer.
People are so focused on being edgy and they spout nonsense as a result. Nonsense that comes across as ignorant, lobsided or possibly racist or all theee. Amazing how many don't research their sources anymore.
They are so quick to retweet or share For kudos and likes. Challenged and they go all in and come across as a tad nuts.

That's a study after the one you posted that has lower results a few months afterwards. Dropped to 44% within a few months of your article. That's quite a drop in support in such a short space of time.......

Makes me laugh that I was waiting for someone to come along and disagree with this. The problem with right/left wing is that when it's right wing , generally people just go along with it. The minute it's aimed at the other side, people can't wait to try and debunk it. Almost like it can't happen.
the difference between the two BLM is actually a none point, grasping at straws. The latter carries the message , says it speaks for the political movement, Patrice stepped down from this and is now under scrutiny for finances. The latter is also responsible for the activist side of things , which is exactly what we saw in the summer of 2020.
So please tell me what your actual disagreement is here? Or the nonsense @SteveSC mentions?
Seems this latter group who are the activist side of it are claiming millions of dollars in donations, not disclosing where the money is going , the leader left and is under suspicion , not filing tax forms in different states....
What exactly is the difference between for example Jordan Peterson grifting and a activist group making millions of dollars in donations based on their very specifically political message disappear? I can answer that for you, which side of the political line you stand.

Well the media exposure for a start. BLM might contain grifters but they are very unlikely to get the coverage, access or encouragement to monetise that Peterson, Rogan or other RW controversialists would get. Filching donations is probably the extent of what they are capable of.
I mean for one example Piers Morgan has just got a £50 million deal to spout crap about woke takeovers; he’s also built a career as a “journalist” out of grifting too (see also Farage’s recent activity). Neither of that would happen for someone on the left, never mind BLM.

You could have picked like you said yourself any group or organization to mention dodgy behavior with regards to charity and taking. But yet again with out research you picked a black based organization to try make it fit whatever fecked up agenda you have.
